My Winter Morning Skincare Routine

Hey guys,
Winter is almost over but I wanted to share with you my morning skincare routine that helped me beat the cold dry weather. Although we are now headed into spring I think I can continue this routine till we hit summer, where I might have to switch up a product or two.

Anyways as for now, I have been cleansing my face and applying a thin layer of Indeed Hydraluron- Everyone in the beauty community knows about this revolutionary product. I first thought it was a gimmic and went off it for a month. Thats when I noticed it did make a difference to my skin. My skin felt and looked more supple when I used this product. So I am back to it now and its here to stay. I already have a back up incase I run out of it.

While the Hydraluron dries I apply my favourite lip balm at the moment- Chapstick Cake Batter on my lips and also the Origins Super Spot Remover on any inflammed or obvious acne. I know this spot treatment is to be done on clean skin but I find this way it works better for me. While that dries I go onto my eyes and apply my Boots Serum 7 Anti Wrinkle Eyecream. I haven't noticed any anti-wrinkling happening under my eyes but this stuff helps keep my undereyes hydrated and also helps the concealer to not crease.

Lastly I moisturize my face and neck with the L'oreal Youth Code Luminosity Moisturiser. This moisturiser has a nice sheen ( not exactly shimmer but very fine micro shimmers) in it and helps my skin look radiant. Even though I have oily combination skin, anything that helps my skin look glowy during the dry winter months are my best friends.

Do you change your skin care products depending on the season?

Estee Lauder Day Wear Moisturizer for Oily Skin

Hey guys,

I am going to be reviewing Estee Lauder's Day Wear Advanced Multi Protection Anti- Oxidant Lotion for oily skin. I use this moisturizer every single day for my face and I really like it. It does nothing extra ordinary but I do notice that it does not break me out and keeps my skin hydrated. I used to use the normal/ combination skin version during winter last year but since my skin is more oily I repurchased the oily skin version next. It retails for $65 in Australia for 50ml of product. I recieved a sample of this in an Estee Lauder gift pack last year and since it worked so well for me, I purchased a full size of it and since then been using it.

The above version is the normal/combination skin which I used up totally. I like the oily skin version because it comes with a pump and it is more hygienic than a tub. Although it is pricey for a normal moisturizer I feel it has improved my skin a lot. I used to break out a lot till last year and after I started using this break outs have considerablly reduced. It does not make my skin feel dry or look greasy. Bonus it has SPF 15 so I don't find the need to put on an extra sunscreen. Also my skin is very sensitive so not many products react well with my skin. I am happy this one has and I love it so much that I will keep repurchasing this till I find an exact alternative.

Have any of you tried the Estee Lauder skin care range and what do you think of it??

My Everyday Face Routine

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to go through all the products I use every single day in the morning before getting ready. These are basically my current favorites.

First off I start by applying this Witch Hazel toner on a cotton pad and wiping my face with it. This is the best toner I have ever used. It is not stingy like other alcoholic toners and takes off every single bit of dirt you would have on your face. I swear by this toner and this is my third bottle of it.
The next thing I do is apply Hydraluron over my face. This is basically a very hydrating serum and I have been using it for a few weeks now, definitely see a difference in the way my skin feels. If you have very dry skin this is is a must have but even oily skin can use it.
The third step to my regimen is my moisturizer. It is the Estee Lauder Day Wear moisturizer with SPF 15. This particular one is for  oily skin and I will have another blog post talking about this product in detail.
Now time for lips, I use the MUA lip balm in Hot Lips which moisturizes my lips and provides a sheer tint of red colour.
After all these steps I proceed to my makeup and even though I don't do makeup everyday , these steps are followed religiously as I believe in keeping my skin hydrated at all times.

My current favorite perfume is YSL Babydoll and I love it because it smells like roses. I also like to moisturize my hands after I get ready and I use Soap and Glory's Hand food. I have almost run out of it and need to buy another one soon.

I hope you guys enjoyed my post.
Until next time!!
Love Ya!❤
