Lust Have It! September Box

Hey Guys,
I received my September Lust Have It! box in the mail today. I am really excited to try out some of the products I received. There is one product that I have used before and loved, so it is a bonus. The packaging is the same as the previous boxes, cardboard flap box. I heard that they were going to change the packaging this month but I guess they are still continuing the boxes. Without further adieu lets get into the contents of this month's box.

WOTNOT Natural Organic Facial Wipes
Full Size RRP A$7.95, 25 Wipes per pack
The formula is enriched with all natural ingredients including Australian certified organic aloe vera to lubricate and repair, certified organic sweet almond oil to restore lost moisture and calm itch and inflammation and certified organic rosehip oil for skin regeneration and moisture re-balancing.

The pack I received includes 5 wipes and since it is completely organic it should not irritate my skin like other facial wipes do. I am excited to give these ones a go.

MARY KAY Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover (Mini Version)
Full Size RRP A$22, 110ml
Gently removes eye makeup including waterproof mascara without tugging or pulling delicate skin in the eye area. Formula does not leave the skin feeling dry. The mini is great for travel and small enough to tuck in your handbag.

The mini version has 29 ml of product, this is said to be oil-free but it does have an oil like substance in it. It is like those makeup removers where you shake the bottle and mix the two liquids before using.

L'oreal Base Magique Primer and Nude Magique BB Cream
Full Size RRP A$ 29.95, 15ml and RRP A$26.95, 30ml
L'oreal base magique primer is a transforming smoothing primer that instantly minimizes pores and creates an even surface, so that you get a more flawless makeup result that lasts.
L'oreal Nude Magique BB Cream is a breakthrough in BB technology. Micro pigment capsules that transform and self-adjust to match your skin tone for the perfect nude look.

I have used this primer before and love it. I would not recommend it for dry skin because it does give a matte look and can show dry patches on the skin. I got a nice travel friendly 5ml tube of the primer and a 1ml sachet of the BB Cream. I am excited to see if this BB Cream actually adapts to my skin tone. Will give it a go and let you guys know.

Bioderma Sebium AKN and Bioderma Sebium Foaming Gel
Full size RRP A$24.95, 30ml  and RRP A$29.95, 500ml
Bioderma Sebium AKN preserves sebum quality, preventing deterioration and thickening, thus effectively reducing the appearance and development of imperfections.
Bioderma Sebium Foaming Gel is formulated with non-irritant substances that gently cleanses and reduces secretion whilst purifying the epidermis.

I am really excited to try these out. They are great for oily skin like mine.

BAJI Skincare Range
BAJI Eye Rescue Serum
Full Size RRP A$39, 15ml
This ultra light weight, fast absorbing, intensive formula helps fight against puffiness, dark circles and wrinkles.

Another exciting product to try out. I am all for eye serums and creams and have been loving Eyesilix by Indeed Labs. Hope this one turns out to be good too.

Lust Have It! Synthetic precision pencil brush
Full Size RRP A$15
This synthetic precision brush is perfect for cream or powder eyeshadow application.

I am all for makeup brushes and love to try out different types. This looks like a great smudge brush as it works for both cream and powder.

TOM Organic Regular Tampons
Full Size RRP A$7.99, Pack of 16
TOM's range of feminine hygiene products are made using the purest organic cotton on earth; breathable, comfortable, hypoallergenic. TOM offers reliable, chemical free protection and peace of mind.

That was all the products in my Lust Have It! box. i ma really excited to try the eye serum and the bioderma products. The brush is an added bonus.
Did you get a similar box? If not what did you get in yours? I would love to know in the comments below.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Sheer Rush Lipshine and Sheer Rush Gloss Review

Hey Guys,

Today's post is going to be a review of the new Estee Lauder Pure Color Sheer Rush lip products that I have been testing out for quite sometime now.

Lipshine on its own

Lipshine on its own

The Pure Color lip shine in Plexi Pink:
This is a sheer lipstick which reminds me of Revlon's Lip Butters but with a harder consistency. They go on smoothly but do not provide much colour even on layering it. It looks like a tinted lipbalm on the lips. Does not last very long, I had it on for about 2 hours and it was gone by the end of the 2 hours. The good thing is it does not leave the lips feeling dry after it has worn off. I could not find these on the Estee Lauder website but I am sure that the Estee Lauder counters still stock these. I bought this for A$45

Lipgloss on its own

Lipgloss on its own

The Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss in Hot Fuse:
This is a sheer red lipgloss which provides good color payoff and feels great on the lips. It does not last very long, say about 2 hours after which the glossiness reduces to a sheen. I love how it feels, non sticky and gel like. The consistency reminds me of the YSL Glossy stains having that gel like feel on the lips. Honestly I hate lip glosses because they are usually sticky but this lip gloss has made me change my opinion about them. I have tried MAC, Lancome and Chanel lip glosses and hated them all. It does not leave the lips feeling dry after the shine has worn off which is a plus point. The retail price for this product is A$42. On the Estee Lauder website all the colors have sold out but I am sure they are still available at the EL counters.

Overall I am very impressed with the gloss, not so much with the lip shine. In fact the gloss is more pigmented than the lip shine. I would highly recommend you to at least try the gloss on when you visit an Estee Lauder counter because it is amazing.

Lush, L'Occitane and Essence Haul

Hey guys,

I shopped a bit, I know I don't need any more products but you know how it is when you see something and immediately feel the need to own it. The same thing happened to me last week. So I gave in and bought the following products.

Lush Sweetie Pie shower Jelly:
I am a huge Lush fan and I have tried a lot of their products but not this  one. I really liked the concept of using a jelly like a bar of soap for your shower so I picked this up. It smells like cherries. So excited to try it out. Retail price is A$6.25 for 100 gms

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub:
This is a repurchase. I have used this lip scrub before but when I went to India in January I forgot it back there. I love that it has a sweet candy smell and honestly makes your lips super smooth. Retail price A$9.95 for 25 gms

L'Occitane Hand Creams :
L'Occitane hands down makes the best hand creams ever. I actually recieved the shea butter hand cream in a magazine once and fell in love with it. When I went to repurchase that, I smelled these two and had to buy them. The shea butter hand cream does not have a distinct smell but these ones smell amazing. The one on the right smells like roses and the left smells like cherry blossom. They retail for A$12 each.

Essence Me and My Ice cream Hand wipes and Shimmer Pearls:
Next stop was at Priceline and I really wanted to try some products from this Me and My Ice cream collection but unfortunately these were the only products I could get my hands on that were not tampered with. The hand wipes smell delicious and the shimmer pearls look like a dupe for the Guerlain meteorites pearls. They are basically supposed to give your face a radiant illuminated look. I have not tried them out yet so I can't say if they work well. The hand wipes were A$2.25 and the shimmer pearls A$5.75

That was all I bought, If you have tried any of the products mentioned do let me know what you think about them.

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Spellbound

Hey guys,

Today I am going to be reviewing the Laura Mercier Face Illuminator in Spellbound from the Dark Spell collection.

What Laura Mercier says about this product :

A beautiful face illuminating hybrid product with a soft rose gold shimmer perfect for highlighting. The unique formula based on high pearl levels provides buildable long-wearing colour.

Effortlessly highlights cheeks, eyes and décolleté with pure light-reflecting pigments for a colour-true, multi-dimensional luminous finish
Provides natural radiance to complexion for an instant healthy glow
Lightweight formula with a smooth, soft, creamy texture is comfortable to wear
Bouncy texture allows for excellent colour payoff
Applies smoothly and evenly onto face without dragging on skin or dusting
Long-wearing formula; wears all day (8 hours)
Stays colour-true and does not fade throughout the day
Designed to complement all skin tones
Versatile formula can be used on face, cheeks and eyes
Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested
Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive
Size: 10.00g/0.35 oz.

What I think about this product:

First of all the packaging is simple and classy.
The product itself has a beautiful satin scrunched look.
The texture is creamy and blends like a dream.
The colour of the highlighter is a rose gold with a shimmer which is not glittery.
For lighter skin tones this can work as a blush as it has some colour, but for darker skin tones, only as a highlighter.
Since it has warm undertones, it suits cooler and warmer skin equally.
It lasted about 7 hours on me and then faded evenly.
It retails for $60 in Australia and $42 in the US. I bought mine from Myer.

Swatched heavily             Blended out

I have swatched Essence Bella's Secret on the left and Spellbound on the right, in the pictures below.

Bella's Secret                   Spellbound

Bella's Secret                    Spellbound

I think this is a gorgeous product for those who are looking for a highlighter that works on all skin tones. I must warn you this is limited edition so pick one up before it sells out.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Haul and Review

Hey guys,

I was in Priceline the other day and I have been avoiding the Maybelline section for a long time because I did not want to test something and not buy it. But I did cave in and purchased the new Color Tattoo Metal in Electric Blue, Inked in pink and Barely Branded. While I was there I thought I might as well try out the master precise liquid liner which is raved about so much.

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner in Blackest Black :

I bought this liner in curiosity and I probably will never use any other liquid liner till the end of time. It is so easy to work with and you can get a really thin or a thick winged out liner look with precision. It is a must have, especially for those who are scared to use a liquid liner. I am really impressed with Maybelline for this one.
It is waterproof but not hard to take off with makeup remover. I have used it for 11 hours at work and it did not move. No signs of fading either.
I have finally found my holy grail liquid liner.

Color Tattoo Metal in Electric blue:

This shade is a beautiful royal blue which looks beautiful on its own or used with a shadow on top.

Color Tattoo Metal in Inked in Pink :

This is a pretty frosty pink colour. Great for an all over wash of colour on your lids.

Color Tattoo Metal in Barely Branded :

This is a  nude champagne frosty shade which is great as an all over base to make your shadows pop. For lighter skin tones you can get away with only applying this colour but for medium to darker skin tones it is a bit too light to be worn on its own.

The texture of all three is creamy and easily blend able. They do not have any glitter in them. All of these shades lasted pretty well on my oily eyelids for about 9 hours without creasing or fading. They did start creasing a little after 10 hours or so. I honestly don't mind that as I don't need to wear makeup for 24 hours. I got them at a half price sale so they were around $6 each. If you are in the market looking for a great eyeshadow base then I strongly suggest you to check these out.

Till next time,

Lust Have it! August Box *

Hey guys,

I know this is a very late post and most of you would have already seen a lot of Australian bloggers blog about this, but I thought I would add in and give my views too. For those of you who don't know what Lust Have it! is check my post here for more info.

I recently received my August Lust Have it! box. This is the first box I have received after I discontinued their service in February 2013. The August box was sent to me for review and because I am highly impressed I wanted to share my thoughts with all of you. Lets get into the contents of this month's box.

The packaging is a beautiful mint blue box with a floral pattern on it, great to store knick-knacks or use as a pretty display. Inside the box were all my items wrapped in black tissue paper. It also comes with a card that explains each product, its uses and retail value of the full size product. Below are the items I received and what they are used for.

Revlon Photoready Skinlights face Illuminator:
Full size RRP $29.95, 30ml
This Illuminator is a lightweight liquid illuminator that works to instantly brighten the skin. Designed to enhance skin's natural radiance, it boosts natural illuminosity, minimizes flaws, enhances skin with a hint of sheer colour and protects the skin from harsh environments.

The colour I received is in 200 Pink lights

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup:
Full size RRP $25.95, 30ml
So light, it melts right in, working in harmony with your skin's unique tone and texture for an even, flawless finish. Vitamin and antioxidant- packed to pump up your natural glow. Available in 12 true-to-tone shades.

This is a sample of four shades of the new Nearly Naked foundation by Revlon.

KMS California Free shape shampoo:
Full size RRP $28.95, 300ml
Create unlimited style transformations with hot tools. Styles last until next wash. The Free Shape Shampoo increases manageability and pliability for preparation for heat styling.

I received a 12ml sachet which is great for traveling, saves so much space.

KMS California Free Shape Add Volume Volumizing Spray:
Full Size RRP $31.95, 200ml
This spray increases volume and provides intense fullness, ideal for super fine hair.

The deluxe sample is 30ml which is great to test out and see if it actually works before buying a full size.

Sinful Colours Nail Enamel:
Full size RRP 4.95, 15ml
Sinful colours nail enamel has a long wearing, chip-resistant, professional formula and is available in 69 runway inspired shades.

This is another full size item in the box and the shade I received is in 369 Ruby Ruby which is a bright red.

La Roche Posay Thermal Spring water:
Full Size RRP $ 21.95, 300ml
This product soothes sensitive skin irritated by outside factors and helps prevent skin aging. It is also a natural anti-oxidant.

Yet another deluxe sample to test out. It is basically like MAC's Fix Plus, but this one can be applied all over the body.

La Roche Posay Lipikar Blam AP:
Full Size RRP $37.95, 400ml
Lipikar Balm is a lipid-replenishing body balm that offers a 24hours anti-scratching efficacy. Its quick-dress texture for fast absorption into the skin is adapted for babies and children.

The sample I received is quite decently sized, usually we get samples of 5ml but this one is 15ml and it will last quite a few uses.

I also received a card from Lush which gave me a free sample of any Lush moisturizer or cleanser I would like to try. So I went to the Lush store and got the Enzymion Moisturizer which is for oily skin. Since they gave me enough to last only two uses, I have already used it up. Can't say I found any difference to my skin because I did not use it much. Hopefully I will get the full size soon and try it out.

Out of all the products I an extremely excited to try out the La Roche Posay products and the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation.  I love these beauty box subscriptions, they provide you with so many new products to try out. Overall the value of the box is way more than what you actually pay for it. With Lust Have it! I have always received at least one full size item that covers the price of the whole box. I am totally impressed and would highly recommend everyone to check it out.

I have a special coupon for first timers. Just use the code DAZZLE at the checkout to get $5 off your first box. You can also use the link on the right side of this blog.

Are you a Lust Have it! subscriber? What do you think of it?

Recent empties and products I am chucking out

Hey guys,

I am on a mission to finish up products I already own before buying new products, which is hard and almost impossible for me but I am trying. I am really excited that I could complete a few of them atleast.
Without further adieu I present to you my empties,

Impulse Illusions body mist : I used to carry this in my gym bag and finally I am done with it. It was a fresh smelling body spray I bought from Safeway.

Estee Lauder Day Wear moisturizer for Oily skin : Unfortunately I am out of my favorite moisturizer and it is very expensive to repurchase, so I will be saving up some money before I can splurge on this again.

Essence 24h Hand Protection Balm : It was my husband who finished up this product actually, but I thought I will just include it in here because I had bought it for myself originally. It is just a hand cream which is apple cinnamon flavored and he loved the smell of it.

Essence Get Big Lashes Mascara : I did not use up this product completely, it just dried out on me in no time. I think I had it for like 2 months and hardly used it but now it is completely dry and useless so I am just chucking it out.

Revlon Lipbutter in Pink Truffle : Yay!! I used up another lip product. With the amount of lipsticks and glosses I have I never thought I will use up any of it. But I did completely use this one up again. My previous post of May empties had one too. Love this lip butter for just a natural flush of colour everyday.

So today I thought I shall clear out some of my clutter and started with the eyeliner drawer. The following eye liners are being chucked out either due to poor performance or just dried up sitting there. It includes brands like Essence, VOV, Savvy by DB, Revlon, Maybelline and Jordana. The Revlon Colorstay on the extreme right is actually used up completely but I don't know why it was still in the drawer. I loved that blackberry colour, unfortunately it has been discontinued.

Have you used any of these products before and what do you think of them??

August Favorites Makeup, Skincare and Random

Hey guys,

Today's post is going to be about the products that I have been loving for the month of August. There are some repeats but most of them are new products. These are products that I would reach for almost everyday. I have divided them into Skincare, Makeup and Random. So here they are

For skincare I have been using The Witch Hazel toner every single day for the past one year now. This is my 3rd bottle. I love that it doesn't sting but also just clears my pores from any makeup or dirt. The Hydraluron is a new product I have added to my skincare for the past one month It is a serum used before your moisturizer. Eysilix is a serum for your eyes, again I use this everyday day and night. Both the Hydraluron and Eysilix are made by Indeed Labs and can be purchsased at Priceline. Another product I have been loving this month is the Maybelline Baby lips. Honestly this is the first time I have tried this lip balm and it is so easy to use. I used to use the MUA hot lips but that came in a pot and I had to use my fingers, which I find is not very hygienic, so this tube has been amazing.

Now onto makeup, I have been using my Illamaqua light liquid foundation almost every single day because I don't like to cover my face with too much makeup everyday and this is a very light formula. It gives a light to medium coverage thus I don't use concealer, which makes it look more natural. To set my foundation I have been using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. For blush my go to blush has been Benefit's Bella Bamba which is a bright watermelon pink with a golden sheen to it. Beautiful colour for medium skin tones. Maybelline's line stiletto is my holy grail liquid eye liner and I am so sad that it has been discontinued. This is another product that will always be on my favorites list till I run out of it. For lipstick I have been reaching for Maybelline's Yummy Plummy, which is a pretty mauve pink and looks quite natural on me.

Random products I have been loving are my Victoria's Secret Body spray in Gorgeous and L'occtaine shea butter hand cream. The L'occtaine hand cream will be repurchased because it is the best hand cream ever. It gets absorbed by the skin so quickly and does not feel greasy at all.

Hope you guys enjoyed my favorites and if you have tried any of these products and love them do let me know in the comments below.

Love ya!
